06 Jul Putting Cornwall on the Map
We are proud to see the release of this brand new Cornwall Visitor Map. Covering 100 of Cornwall’s beaches and coves, 158 amazing days out and activities – including gardens and attractions – the new map provides all of Cornwall’s top areas to explore in one easy to use place.
Working closely with Visit Cornwall our task began with a blank canvas, building up a layered map, plotting on towns, villages, roads, AONB’s, World Heritage Sites and more, resulting in the most detailed and comprehensive visitor map of Cornwall to date. The map artwork has also been thoughtfully designed, allowing it to be repurposed for various uses both digitally and in print for many years to come.
This single publication replaces four previous Visit Cornwall maps – Dog Friendly Cornwall, Poldark filming locations, Gardens of Cornwall and the CATA map. This has ultimately reduced the amount of paper being used, decreasing wastage and Visit Cornwall’s carbon footprint.
The initial 200,000 copies of the Cornwall Visitor Map can now be found all around the county, from Cornish supermarkets to attractions and tourist information centres, this is one of the most significant distribution jobs for the tourism industry to date and we are thrilled with the end result.
