Callestick Farm was the first in Cornwall to diversify from primary dairy farming into ice cream production back in 1989. They continue to innovate in farming and to create a ‘champion’ award winning ice cream product — but have seen a plethora of new competitors aggressively entering the category, both locally and nationally. This is a close-knit family business and Wolf Rock worked alongside two generations of passionate farmers to develop the right strategy. Following decisions to develop new routes to market, particularly in London and the South East, we addressed the need for new brand positioning. We carefully preserved and accentuated core brand values and developed a new approach to packaging with a focus on key consumer messaging — together with a full suite of marketing support and collateral including a new multi-platform website, video and photography, and social media training.
